Here’s a list of the pests that may threaten your home:
Bed bugs
Bed bugs are flat, reddish-brown, oval insects about 3/16-inch long or the size of an apple seed. Swollen and reddish after a blood meal. They feed exclusively on blood. Their bites can leave itchy, welts on the skin and can cause allergic reactions, such as severe itching.
Cockroaches
Cockroaches are one of the most commonly noted household pest insects. They feed on human and pet food, and can leave an offensive odor. They can also passively transport microbes on their body surfaces and in their droppings.
Silverfish
They inhabit moist areas and they can be found in basements, bathrooms, garages, closets, beds, pillows, and attics. Silverfish are nocturnal and move very quickly. They try not to be seen by humans and the severity of an infestation may go unnoticed for long periods of time, allowing for exponential growth. They also reproduce quickly. Silverfish will feed on your clothes, books and other similar articles often unknown to you.
Beetles
Beetles are sometimes confused with cockroaches, but they have wings and fly. In the late summer and fall, homeowners can find hundreds of these beetles clustered on the outside of the home. The beetles are trying to invade homes for shelter through the winter.
They can attack food products in home or fabrics or wood.
Spiders
Some spiders like wet environments, others like dry spaces. There are many species of spiders. They feed on other insects and most species are not aggressive towards humans, but they make webs in the house.

Ants
Even though ants are so small, they are the number one pest problem in many countries. They can nest anywhere, in and around the house. They enter through even the tiniest cracks, seeking water and sweet or greasy food substances. Ants leave an invisible chemical trail which contains pheromones for others to follow once they locate the food source.
Some ants may bite or sting people and some can carry diseases.
Fleas
Fleas are external parasites, often biting humans and pets. One sign of fleas for pets is that they scratch themselves a lot. They can carry diseases that they can pass on to whoever they feed on. Time is important with flea control, their life cycle is as short as 18 days, thus an infestation can occur very quickly.
Rodents
Rats and mice can transmit various diseases to humans through direct or indirect means. They will also eat your food, chew on anything available to them. Mice invade your home seeking food, water and warmth. Without mouse control intervention, one pair of mice may produce 200 offspring in four months.
Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes can spoil your outside activities and they can also chase you indoors. Only the females bite. The mosquito bites are not particularly dangerous, but they can carry diseases. We can help you reduce the number of mosquito population.
Clothes Moths
Clothes moths feed on clothes, carpets, fabrics, blankets. They like dark, undisturbed areas and they often go unseen, and cause a lot of damage before they are discovered.
Termites
Termites are often called the “silent destroyer” because they may be secretly hiding in your house without any immediate signs of damage. All termites require four things to survive food, moisture, shelter and optimal temperature. Their feeding habits are capable of causing costly damage to property, destroying house foundations, furniture, shelves, books, carpets and insulation.
